Introduction

The Bachelor of Arts in Korean Language and Literature is an educational program designed for students who are interested in a comprehensive study of Korean culture, language and literature. The main goal of this program is to introduce students to the structure and usage of Korean and the cultural context of the societies that speak this language. During the course of study, the grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation of Korean are studied, as well as classical and modern works of Korean literature. Through these works, students have the opportunity to better understand the history, philosophy and socio-cultural structure of Korea.

The program's curriculum begins with lessons to develop grammar and practical speaking skills. Later on, courses on major authors and works of Korean literature provide a broad overview of Korean history and culture. Students also develop skills in analyzing and translating Korean texts. The program takes a balanced approach between language learning and literary analysis.

Teaching methods include class discussions, group work, presentations and projects. Students are provided with interactive environments where they can use Korean in everyday conversational language. In addition, some parts of the program make use of technological tools such as multimedia teaching materials and language laboratories.

In terms of career and employment opportunities, graduates can find opportunities in various fields. These include translation, tourism, international trade, education and media. There are also opportunities to work in institutions and organizations that have business or cultural exchanges with Korea.

Internships and practicum opportunities provide students with real-world experiences, allowing them to put their education into practice. Some universities offer exchange programs or internships with partner universities in Korea, allowing students to learn by living in Korea. Such experiences allow students to improve their language skills and become more familiar with Korean culture.
