Abdullah Gül University (AGÜ) was established in Kayseri in 2010 and accepted its first students in the 2013-2014 academic year. AGÜ'süsüsücampü is Sümer Kampüsü located 10 minutes from Kayseri city center. This camp has been transformed into a modern education and research center by restoring a former textile factory. There is also a second campus, known as Mimar Sinan Campus, built on an area of 360,000 square meters. When completed, this camp will become AGÜ's main camp.
