Introduction

The International Relations Undergraduate Program is an educational program that aims to provide students with theoretical and practical knowledge covering topics such as global politics, diplomacy, international law and economic systems. This program aims to equip students with the skills to analyze events occurring around the world and to find solutions to various international and regional problems. The International Relations department generally adopts an interdisciplinary approach, including political science, economics, history and law.

In terms of academic content, the International Relations program usually includes courses such as international political theory, international law, international economic institutions, foreign policy analysis, global security, conflict resolution and peace studies. In these courses, students learn in detail the roles of actors in the international system, how international norms and rules are shaped, and the interactions between state and non-state actors. They also study the search for solutions to global problems and regional dynamics.

Teaching methods include lectures, seminars, group work, case studies and simulations. Through these methods, students have the opportunity to put their theoretical knowledge into practice and develop their critical thinking skills. Various conferences, panel discussions and workshops are also integral parts of the program.

In terms of career prospects, International Relations graduates have a wide range of career opportunities. Graduates can work in foreign ministries, international organizations, non-governmental organizations, research institutes and the private sector. These roles can include positions such as diplomat, policy analyst, international relations consultant, human rights advocate and international business development specialist.

Internship and practice opportunities are also an important part of the program. Students can gain real-world experience, expand their international networks and acquire skills that are relevant to their career goals by doing internships to support their academic education. Such hands-on experiences make it easier for students to find a job after graduation and give them a strong start to their professional careers.
