Recognizing that a modern university develops through social activities in addition to a good education, the university leads many activities in this direction. Seminars, symposiums, conferences, panels and interviews are organized on various topics throughout the academic year. Clubs formed by students are supported by the university in social, cultural and sporting activities. Traditional science, culture, art and sports festivals are organized every year in May. There is great enthusiasm in the fair, sports tournaments and shows organized within the scope of the festivities.
Culture and art activities are also emphasized. The M. Rıza Çerçel Cultural Center within the University and the halls in academic units are used for such events. The halls have the capacity and equipment to meet all kinds of cultural and artistic activities of students and faculty members. All campuses have sports facilities that allow students to play sports and young athletes can play sports in the teams formed. Students can play football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, badminton, badminton, athletics, rhythmic gymnastics, step, mountaineering, boxing, wrestling, taekwondo and karate and participate in tournaments by joining teams.
