Lokman Hekim University Library was established to support the scientific study, education and research needs of the university. The library provides a rich source of information to students, academic staff and researchers, supporting their academic achievements and research.
The library has a wide collection of information resources such as books, periodicals, theses, brochures and electronic databases on various subjects. These resources are carefully selected and regularly updated to support university education and training programs and to assist in research. The Library also includes donated information resources to increase the diversity of its collection.
The management and coordination of the library is carried out by the Library and Documentation Coordinatorship. This unit follows and applies modern librarianship methods to ensure that library services continue without interruption. Library staff are involved in organizing and protecting information resources and providing user services. The Library Coordinator oversees the standardization and coordination of library services.
The services offered in the library include lending, reserve, interlibrary cooperation and reference services. The lending service allows users to borrow information resources for specific periods of time. The reserve service allows faculty members to reserve information resources for short periods of time and use them as course materials. Through interlibrary cooperation, information resources not available in the library can be obtained from other libraries in Turkey and abroad.
The library also organizes various training programs and information events to increase user satisfaction. User trainings are provided for the effective and efficient use of information resources in the library and regular announcements are made about new information resources. Surveys and research are conducted to measure user satisfaction, thus ensuring continuous improvement of library services.
